So from time to time we join forces with other like minded independent businesses to put on events that we think our customers would love.
We’re currently looking for chefs/food producers who’d like to do an evening take-over or run a supper club. Must have their own public liability insurance and food hygiene certificate of 4 or higher.
Something we launched late Summer last year that was very popular, so we’re starting it earlier this year. An informal early evening stop-off after work or a stroll along the Ridgeway. We’ll be serving small dishes of tasty food like prawn and mango tacos, loaded houmous, patatas bravas – a mix and match of flavours for you to enjoy one or many! We’re fully licensed too, so come and sit on our patio in the sun (fingers crossed) and enjoy a Pimms, Prosecco or Peroni with a few nibbles. Coffee and cake available too.
We are very excited about this one! The super talented team from Forbesfield will be running an evening workshop at our cafe where you will get to make and take home your very own terrarium. Their recent class in Cardiff was over subscribed 3 times, so this will be very popular. You can book via their website and numbers are limited.
Another really popular event we launched last year. Helen Williams who teaches at the Celtic Manor and at her own home studio in Newport will be holding the outdoor yoga class that is suitable for all ages, male and female. Focusing on natural breathing and stretching, it’s the perfect start to a Saturday morning. Enjoy the fresh air, feel invigorated and then join us inside for a healthy, vegan breakfast.
Customers always love these events! We’ve had handmade Welsh burgers and wood fired pizzas. Looking to add some more street food traders to our Summer pop up events and we’re busy putting dates and food producers together.
